House Cleaning Checklist: Standard, Deep, Move-In/Out & Deep Move-In/Out
Compare what is included by room before booking Tampa Bay Shine. This checklist also explains when a move-out needs our higher-condition Deep Move-In/Out service because accumulated buildup requires substantially more cleaning time.
Which cleaning service is right for you?
- Standard Cleaning: best for recurring upkeep in lived-in homes that are already in maintained condition.
- Deep Cleaning: best for first-time service, seasonal resets, detailed catch-up cleaning, or before starting recurring service.
- Move-In/Out Cleaning: best for vacant or mostly vacant homes in normally maintained condition.
- Deep Move-In/Out Cleaning: for vacant or mostly vacant homes with significant accumulated buildup, or homes that have not received a thorough deep cleaning within approximately six months. It includes the Move-In/Out scope plus the additional labor needed for heavier grease, soap scum, grime, dust, and buildup.
Not sure which move-out service to choose? If the home has been regularly maintained and does not have substantial buildup, choose Move-In/Out Cleaning. If it has significant buildup or has gone roughly six months without a thorough deep cleaning, choose Deep Move-In/Out. Extremely neglected conditions may require photos or a custom quote.
The final scope depends on the size, condition, selected add-ons, accessibility, and cleaning type selected during booking or quote review.

What Is Not Included
Important: Tampa Bay Shine does not provide carpet shampooing, steam cleaning, carpet extraction, pest control, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, exterior window cleaning, heavy lifting, hoarding cleanup, or unsafe high-reach work. Specialty floor care, stripping, waxing, polishing, and large post-construction projects require a separate quote when available.

Should I book standard cleaning or deep cleaning?
Book standard cleaning if the home is already maintained and you need recurring upkeep. Book deep cleaning if the home needs a more detailed reset, has not been professionally cleaned recently, or needs extra attention before recurring service begins.
Is move-out cleaning more detailed than standard cleaning?
Yes. Move-in/out cleaning is designed for vacant or mostly vacant homes, apartments, listings, closings, move-ins, and move-outs. It commonly includes inside appliances and inside emptied cabinets when confirmed in the scope.
When should I book Deep Move-In/Out Cleaning?
Choose Deep Move-In/Out when the vacant or mostly vacant home has significant accumulated grease, soap scum, grime, dust, or other buildup, or when it has not received a thorough deep cleaning within approximately six months. A well-maintained home may still qualify for regular Move-In/Out Cleaning even if it has not had a professional deep clean.
Are inside the oven and fridge included?
Inside oven and inside fridge are add-ons for standard and deep cleaning. They are commonly included in move-in/out cleaning when selected or confirmed in the scope.
Do you clean carpets?
Tampa Bay Shine does not provide carpet shampooing, steam cleaning, or carpet extraction. Carpeted areas can be vacuumed as part of the confirmed cleaning scope.
